Oracle cards work by making use of the Law of Attraction, which means that where you are currently at energetically will attract the cards that have the messages appropriate to you and the question you are asking. The messages that come through during your reading is where you need to focus your energy at this time, even if you've asked a completely different question. Often these initial steps are what lead us to our goal or destination that we originally asked about.
